Ferrosilicon 75 can also be used as a replacement for inoculants in casting to enhance eutectic sphere formation and increase the number of eutectic spheres. Adding silicon 75 iron in the production of ductile iron can effectively prevent the formation of carbides in the iron and promote the precipitation and spheroidization of graphite. It can effectively improve the fluidity of molten iron, thereby preventing nozzle clogging and reducing the tendency of castings to become white.
